Where can I find accommodation?

There are a bunch of options for accommodation, we have selected a few below and given the rough travel time from the accommodation to venue.

Matt's Rest (15 Mins)
Lincoln Cottages (17 Mins)
Acacia Bush Lodge (22 Mins)
Thorn Tree Lodge (18 Mins)
79 on Ridge (15 Mins)
Equestre (14 Mins)
The Farmery and Guesthouse (13 mins)
Leopard and Louries Bush Lodge (21 mins)

What time should we arrive?

Please start arriving at 3:15pm and be seated by 3:30pm.

What should I wear?

The dress code is semi-formal. It's going to be quite warm so bust out the heels, cocktail dresses and short sleeve formal attire.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately the ceremony and reception will not have children present, we hope you understand. However we will be hosting a picnic at Wingrove Valley the night before the wedding, Friday the 3rd Jan, where children are more than welcome to join! Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions.

Can I bring a date?

Sadly, unless they have been specifically named and received their own invite, we are unable to include additional guests. If you have any questions, please reach out.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, there will be canapé’s and some lawn activities while the bridal party will be taking pictures. Please feel free to explore around the lawns and lake, but just remember that you will need to be seated for the reception at 6:45pm. After this you will enjoy some great food, speeches and then we plan to dance the night away!

Will there be an open bar?

Unfortunately not. A cash bar will be available for you to purchase your beverages on the day. Please come prepared for this as the venue accepts cash, card and zapper payments.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We love photos! However we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony; we have a professional photographer who has it covered! These photos will be shared for everyone to view after the wedding.

For the rest of the evening however, please take lots of pictures! Just don’t let that get in the way of having fun and celebrating!

What time will the reception end?

The last song will be around 11:45pm, please make sure that you have arrangements in place to get home safely!
